What We Do
Before graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Computer Science, Dan was a member of the Corp of Cadets where he was the Executive Officer of Squadron 3. Dan also was active in student activities including Senior Class Gift Chairman, Muster Committee member as well as serving in Fish Camp for all 4 years of his stay at A&M including his final year as an Associate Director. Dan started his studies in Aerospace Engineering but switched majors when he was introduced to basic computer programming his junior year. Ever since then programming has been his passion.
In 1984, Dan graduated and moved to Dallas Texas where he worked as a programer for Placid Oil Company in downtown Dallas. A corner office on the 30th floor of Thanksgiving Square was not bad for the first year out of A&M. Dan then moved to a position with IBM and worked on OS/2 which was to be the competitor to Windows. After 7 US Patent Awards and IBM Up And Coming Award of the year, Dan left IBM and joined a team of former IBM colleges when OS/2 was shut down.
After working for 2 other startup companies who lead in inovation technologies, Dan joined PepsiCo for 10 years as a Technical Liaison to several team.s In 2009, he started iClassicNu, a startup software company. Today he freelances in IOS applications as well as technical theatre production involving computer/network installs and video editing.
